The F.A.P.P.O. Blog and You

Welcome to my other other blog! This place is dedicated to the ongoing development and support of F.A.P.P.O., the Forum-Adapted Play-by-Post Online RPG System. F.A.P.P.O. is a fairly new concept in role-playing games: the game developed specifically for playing in a single-threaded online conversation environment (be it a forum, email, group chat, Google Wave, etc.) without requiring separate software to roll dice or keep track of things. Designed to be fast, easy and flexible, F.A.P.P.O. can be tweaked to facilitate any kind of role-playing game you want to create.

As we continue forward, F.A.P.P.O. will too. This system is nothing without people to play it, and those people may yet stumble across problems we haven't dreamed of. Nothing is set in stone. I'll continue to work the rules, build some game worlds right before your very eyes, and help work out some of the thornier problems of online role playing. If you want to use F.A.P.P.O. in your own game sessions, I'm all for it. Just let me know what sort of great and terrible things happen, and together we can evolve this system into something really worthwhile.

We live in interesting times. Stay tuned.
